Welcome to Subz. By accessing or using our video subtitling service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully.

2. Service Description

Subz provides an online platform for generating, editing, and applying subtitles to video content. Our service uses credits-based processing for video subtitle generation.

3. Account Registration

  • You must create an account to use Subz
  • You must provide accurate and complete information
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
  • You must be at least 13 years old to use this service

4. User Content

By uploading content to Subz, you:

  • Retain all rights to your content
  • Grant us license to process your videos for subtitle generation
  • Confirm you have the right to use and upload the content
  • Agree not to upload any illegal or unauthorized content

5. Credits and Payment

  • Credits are required to process videos
  • Credits must be purchased through our payment provider, LemonSqueezy
  • Unused credits are non-refundable as per our Refund Policy
  • Credits cannot be transferred between accounts

6. Video Storage

  • Videos are processed and stored in Cloudflare R2
  • Videos are available for download for 2 months
  • After 2 months, videos expire and are permanently deleted
  • You are responsible for downloading videos before expiration

7. Usage Restrictions

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for any illegal purposes
  • Upload content that infringes on others' rights
  • Attempt to bypass or manipulate our credit system
  • Reverse engineer or attempt to extract our source code

8. Privacy and Data

  • We process and store videos as described in our Privacy Policy
  • We use Google Analytics for basic website usage tracking
  • We use LemonSqueezy for payment processing
  • We maintain appropriate security measures

9. Service Availability

  • We strive to maintain consistent service availability
  • We may interrupt service for maintenance or updates
  • We are not liable for any service interruptions
  • We reserve the right to modify or discontinue features

10. Termination

We reserve the right to:

  • Suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms
  • Remove any content that violates these Terms
  • Refuse service to anyone for any reason

11. Limitation of Liability

  • The service is provided "as is"
  • We are not liable for any indirect damages
  • Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for credits
  • We do not guarantee accuracy of subtitle generation

12. Changes to Terms

  • We may modify these Terms at any time
  • Significant changes will be notified by email
  • Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance
